MASO UNTERHELL

VAL PUSTERIA, ITALy

The wonderful farmhouse in the midst of the forest of Val Pusteria was torn down and rebuilt completely. The goal was to maintain the traditional style of the historic building but combine it with modern amenities and comforts. The old wood, which was the main material used for the inside and outside walls, preserved the warm atmosphere of the traditional farmhouse along with marble, resin and stone. The contrast of the wood carved decorations on the outside, which are symbolic for South Tyrolean houses, with the more contemporary large windows. The building above the ground is made completely out of wood.
